For almost a decade, the Atlas Education Fund has provided low-interest loans to hundreds of deserving students, helping them finance the training they need to transform the world. The Atlas Education Fund is a one-of-a-kind, faith-based financial aid program that offers low-interest loans to promising students, of all ages, worldwide, pursuing higher education. The Fund was created as a ministry of Sola Caritas Metropolitan Community church when its founder, Dr. Tim Rosenberger, challenged its board to meet the pressing need for this type of financial support in Cleveland, OH. What started as a small, regional, program for at-risk, homeless, and financially dislocated young people has grown to accept applications from across the global footprint of the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches.
